The beach l'Almanarre is 4 km lang between Hyères and the peninsula Giens. Fit for swimming, it's also a wonder for those who love water sports, windsurf, kitesurf (famous international spot). From our guesthouse, the beach can be reached in 5 mn by car. Many parking places.

The "Mont des Oiseaux" rises between the "Colle Noire" and the Fennoillet", a mountain chain hyerois. From there you can rapidly reach the beach of Almanarre (5mn by car) famous for its sports of windsurfing and kite surfing.

Access to Hyeres is very easy by car, sea, train or by airplane :

  • By airplane :

The International airport of Toulon/Hyeres is 7 km from the villa. The international airport of Nice is 150 km from the villa (1h30).

  • By train :

The train station SNCF is 4 km from the villa, a train arrives and departs every day. The train station SNCF of Toulon is 20 km away. More frequent trains are scheduled with many connections to major european cities :sncf.com

  • By car :

Highway A570 will take you directly to "Hyeres les Palmiers". Once you enter the city take a right in the direction of "gare", then follow direction to "Costebelle", then direction "Velodrome" directly to the second ron-point, then follow direction "Mont des Oiseaux/Observatoire du Pic des Fees". After 800m you will be in the residential park of the "Mont des oiseaux". (from here : 2,7 km) The road takes you to the "Rue des mesanges" where you will have a panaromic view of the Giens bay, the beach of Almanarre and the port of Hyeres. The road descends in the direction of the sea. Please note that roads follow in alphabetical order, the "A" on the seaside. You will arrive at the "Avenue des Fauvettes" after the "Avenue des Grives.

You can also access the "Mont des oiseaux" from the "Route de l'Almanarre". You take the route by the seashore toward Toulon by way of Carqueiranne. You enter on the right just after the hospital San Salvadour. Take the rue des Alouettes, then you will find the rue des Colibris and go on till you find La Buanderie. From this point, 900 m higher, you will reach our guesthouse on you left at the Nr 19, Avenue des Fauvettes.
